He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Louise Griffing; and his wife Marian Forbes. He is survived by: his father Nile Lee Forbes; his children, Bill Forbes of Sedalia, Dan Forbes of Smithton, Steve Forbes of Warrensburg and Nancy Parker (Robert) of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Brandon, Quinten, Noah, Jacob and Megan; and his sister Illa Mae Yeater (Pistol). He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and plants, Lloyd's wishes were to have memorial contributions made to the Lloyd and Marian Forbes scholarship fund at Whittier High School in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
