She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph McLean and Marie McLean; her husband Wilmer A. Benson; and her siblings, Hugh, Paul Lemire, Gertrude Kuhne, Marjorie Jacoby and Lois Ross.
She is survived by: her sons, Todd Benson of Sedalia and Mark Benson of Greensburg, IN..
