She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxey Burr and Irene Myrn Oakes (Eister); her husband Loyd Edward "Bud" Garrett; her son Timothy Lee Garrett; her brother Dale Eugene Oaks; her siblings-in-law, Nancy Bishop, Glen Garrett and Charles Seamster; and her nieces, Michelle Shern and Michelle McNeal.
She is survived by: her sister Bonnie Oakes of Sedalia, Missouri; and her siblings-in-law, Carol Seamster of Queen City, Barbara Garrett of Waynesville, Missouri and Lyle Garrett (Lana) of Harrisburg, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
