He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Mary Irene Sands (Shull); his spouse Mary Ann Curry; his son Robben Sands (Lorna) of Scotland; his granddaughters, Hope, Jessica and Chloe; his brothers, Donald Sands of Sedalia, Ralph Sands (Mildred) of Belton, MO and Jerry Sands (Annie) of Grandview, MO; and his daughter Sandra Ann Sands.
