She is survived by: her sons, John Surface, Jr. (Carmen) of Florence, CO, Joel Todd Surface (Heather) of Columbia and Justin Elliot Surface (Kathi) of Sedalia; and her sister Iva Lois Patton (John) of Kansas. She is also survived by six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; and one step-great-granddaughter.
