She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter A. Pickard and Ella E. Pickard (Harris); her stepfather Adolph Ficken; her husband Orville Leon Welch; and her brothers, Johnny Lee Pickard and Jimmy Carl Pickard.
She is survived by: her children, Leon Welch, Jr. of Sedalia, Robin Ewing (Kurt) of Green Ridge and Jason Welch (Kristy) of Blue Springs, MO; her grandchildren, Brittany (Brett), Brooklyn (Weston), Blaine, Devon (Morgan) and Adam; her great grandchildren, Chase, Kennedy, Gemma, Enola and Millie Jean; and her brother Joe Pickard (Patty). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many neighboring friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter or Crossroads Hospice in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
