He was predeceased by: his parents, J. L. Johnson and Lillie Johnson; his wife Margie Johnson; his sister Carol Johnson Glaszczak; his niece Julie Garber; and his great grandchild Ricky Durrell Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Johnson (Dee) of Knob Noster, Missouri, Vicky Whittall (Allen) of Sedalia, Missouri and Glenda Logan of Knob Noster, Missouri; and his sister-in-law Shirley Rogers (Harold) of Blue Springs, Missouri.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sweeney-Phillips & Holdren Funeral Home (617 N Maguire St, Warrensburg, MO 64093). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Knob Noster First Baptist Church or to a charity of your choice and may be left in the care of the funeral home.
