With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ricky W. Barnett of Sedalia, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 30, 2025 at the age of 60. He was predeceased by: his father Willard Barnett; his brother Dennie Barnett; and his brother-in-law Dilbert Clark. He is survived by: his mother Lizzie Audrey Lorene Barnett (Lewis) of Sedalia; and his siblings, Dwayne Barnett (Penny) of Hermitage, Linda Meek (Ted) of Sedalia, Leo Barnett (Donita) of Collins, Brenda Clark of Mora, Wilbur Barnett of Sedalia, Lana Barnett of Mountain View, Bobby Barnett of Sedalia, Drew Barnett (Dayhna) of Sedalia and Jamie Barnett (LaCrista) of Sedalia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Heckart Funeral Home & Cremation Services (903 S Ohio Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location.
