We bid farewell to Rita S. Middleton of Sedalia, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 21, 2026 at the age of 75. Rita touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hohman and Elsie Hohman (Porter); and her brother Jeff Hohman. She is survived by: her husband Lynn Middleton; her children, Heidi Maxwell of Ballwin and Seth Middleton (Ryan) of Chicago; her grandchildren, Cade and Ashlyn Maxwell; and her siblings, Janice Phelps of Columbia, Peggy Davis of Omaha and James Hohman of Russellville. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Parkview Christian Church.
