In loving memory of Robert D. Forsyth of Sedalia, Missouri, who departed this world on October 12, 2025 at the age of 91. Robert leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth "Bill" Ora Forsyth and Florene "Taddy" Forsyth (Crawford); his son Larry Forsyth; and his brother Jack Forsyth. He is survived by: his children, Jim Forsyth (Denise) of Davenport, IA and Terri Flippin (Jeff) of Blue Springs, MO; and his grandchildren, Ryan Flippin, Aaron Flippin, Shay Caley, Amanda Wendling, Magness Puhrmann and Andrew Forsyth. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery (701 N Engineer Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301).
