It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Wayne Bryson of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Lee Bryson and Mary E. Bryson (Glazebrook); his son Michael Wayne Bryson; and his siblings, Robert Lee Bryson and Mary Jo Bryson of Sedalia.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Elaine Brown; his children, Kim McMullen (Douglas) of Lee's Summit, MO and Scott Bryson of Lee's Summit, MO; his grandchildren, Evan (Allison), Tyler (Sia), Taylor (Casey), Brooke and Olivia (Vincent); and his great grandchildren, Knox, Nash and Myles. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery (701 N Engineer Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301).
Memorial contributions are suggested to Calvary Baptist Church, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
