“I'm so sorry to learn that Stanley passed. My father said that he was one of the kindest, most generous people he had ever known. I knew him as a carpenter and mountain climber and someone who struggled with with his own weaknesses. He vanished from our lives 20-some years ago and many thought he had died. My father tried to find him and was unsuccessful. I thought to see if he had turned up only to find that we lost him just last year. I'm so sorry. I wish we could have re-connected.”
