He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Marion Scott and Marian Jean Scott (Stephens); and his brother Robert Scott. He is survived by: his sons, Richard, Justin Scott, Keyshawn Williams, Christopher and Jamie Barnett; his sister JoAnn Greer (David Mosley) of Sedalia; his close friend Lillie Monteer; and his sibling's children, Robin Wagenknecht and Scott Greer.
