He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert J. "Bud" Phillips and Dora Lee Phillips (Twyman); his wife Colleen Kay (Paxton); his siblings, Deborah Phillips, Cindy Phillips and Tony Phillips; and his son Timmy Monteer.
He is survived by: his children, Craig Phillips (Christi) of Quincy, IL, Melissa Hunton (Aaron) of Sedalia, Barry Monteer (Kirstie) of Mora, MO, Leah Monteer of Sedalia, Charles Monteer (Jessica) of Sedalia and Angela Monteer of Sedalia; and his sisters, Bonnie Sue Phillips of Sedalia and Tammy N. Phillips of Sedalia. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
