She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William A. Schien and Naomi Taknsley Schien; her husband Donald G. Callis; her children, Melissa Callis Barkyoumb (Michael) of Tulsa, OK and David W. Callis (Elizabeth) of Sedalia; and her grandchildren, Sarah Schien Lucas (Tyler Jackson Lucas), Grace Elizabeth Root (Justin Craig Root), David Brooks Barkyoumb, Anna McKean Callis and Donald Boyd Callis.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Broadway Presbyterian Church Foundation or the Schien Family Scholarship at State Fair Community College, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
