She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ditzfeld, Sr. and Erma Ditzfeld (McDowell); her husband James "Fuzzy" L. May; her children, Timothy and Tina May; and her siblings, George Ditzfeld, John Ditzfeld Jr., Victor Ditzfeld, Harry Dietzfeld, Bobbie Ditzfeld, Bernice Ash, Ruth Bass Soptic, Dora Parker and Carolyn Woods.

She is survived by: her children, Deanne May and Tom May (Robin); her grandchildren, Madison Wolf (Kyle) and Matthew May (Rachel); her great grandchild Luka June Wolf; and her sisters, Norma Johnson of Sedalia and Bonnie Hrdlicka (Bob) of Independence, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
