She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ditzfeld and Erma Ditzfeld (McDowell); her husband James L. May; her children, Timothy and Tina May; and her siblings, George Ditzfeld, John Ditzfeld Jr., Victor Ditzfeld, Harry Dietzfeld, Bobbie Ditzfeld, Bernice Ash, Ruth Bass Soptic, Dora Parker and Carolyn Woods.
She is survived by: her children, Deanne May and Tom May (Robin); her grandchildren, Madison Wolf (Kyle) and Matthew May (Rachel); her great grandchild Luka June; and her sisters, Norma Johnson of Sedalia and Bonnie Hrdlicka (Bob) of Independence, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3306 Greenridge Rd, Sedalia, MO 65301).
