Virginia Evelyn Perkins Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virginia Evelyn Perkins of Sedalia, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 25, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James H. Allen and Emma E. Allen (Robinson); her husband Robert Leonard Perkins; her daughter-in-law Marjorie Perkins; and her brothers, Elmo Allen, Elmer Allen and Eugene Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda Dirck (Dennis) of Green Ridge, Marvin Perkins (Sue) of Cole Camp, Donald Perkins of Sedalia, Leroy Perkins of Sedalia and Jim Perkins of Sedalia; her siblings, Magdalene Estes of Warsaw, Eunice Bristow of Warsaw, Madge Grabowski of Dupont, Pennsylvania and Paul D. Allen of Lincoln; her siblings-in-law, Catherine Lappat of Independence, Alice Pruett and Leo Perkins of Kansas City; her grandchildren, Janna Hall, Deanne Ladd, Daniel Dirck, Matthew Perkins, Emily Niemeier, William Perkins and John Perkins; her stepgrandchildren, Joey Dirck, Denise Percival, Cassie Parrish, Norman Hefner, Luke Hefner and Megan Houser; her great grandchildren, Mason Moore, Maddox Hall, Emery Glenn, Bryce Dirck, Chloe Dirck, Rhett Niemeier and Charlotte Niemeier; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Wyatt, Sydney, Zoey, Merick, Shelby, Declan, Abby, Seth, Ellie, Liam, Trent, Taigen, Cameron and Lairyx. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church (15042 Chat Ave, Cole Camp, MO 65325). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, MO 65325.
