He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. Long and Martha Long (Pabst); his wife Norma Jean Jeffries; and his brother Robert "Corky" Long. He is survived by: his son Kevin Long (Kristy) of Smithton; his grandchildren, Amanda Long Wilkens (Robert) of Deepwater, MO and Kolten Long (Josee) of Smithton; his great grandchildren, Joanna Wilkens, Charles Wilkens and Evelyn Long; and his close friend Penny Nelson of Sedalia.
