He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Sands and Virginia Lee Sands Brockman (Lemons); and his brother Herb Sands. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hoke; his daughters, Heather Wright of Hughesville, MO and Holly Hatfield (Chris) of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Ashlee and Jacob; and his sisters, Gloria Baldwin of Kansas City, MO and Kenna Page (J. R.) of Alamogordo, NM. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers and plants, memorial contributions are suggested to the Sedalia Senior Center, in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
