He was predeceased by: his parents, James Orval and Mildred Ruth Dotson; and his siblings, Carol Annette Dotson and James Orval Dotson, II (J. O.). He is survived by: his sisters, Nancy Kay Rittenhouse (Jim) and Earlene Hutcheson; his sister-in-law Joyce Dotson; his siblings' children, Dale Hutcheson, Agusta Cribelar (Doug), Marci and Stephanie Dotson; and his great-nephews, Alex Cribelar (Victoria), Ryan Cribelar (Marissa), Ian, Jace, Phoenix and Pharris Dotson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
