“I was 8 years old when I met George, he had married my sister! He was 24, she was 17, and just graduated high school. The best thing was they were going to have a baby, I was so happy and excited, I couldn't wait! George was always good to me, he always had gum or a candy bar to give me, and what 8 year old doesn't appreciate that? Plus he had a little sister now...there were only boys in the Chapman family, so he always kind of spoiled me.”
