She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Humes and Norma Humes; and her husband Paul Mathis. She is survived by: her daughter Sue Mathis; her sister Susan Gail of Harriman, Tennessee; her stepdaughter Linda Chapman-Hovey of Nevada; her grandson Mike Avers of Seligman, Missouri; her great grandchildren, Eugene Rainer of Seligman and Otis Rainer of Seligman; and her great great grandchild Conley Rainer.
