He was predeceased by: his parents, W. D. Callahan and Flora Bell Shields Callahan; his son Billy Don Callahan; and his siblings, Julia Parker, Ollie McDaniel, Eula Belle Emenhiser, Jim Callahan, Jerry Callahan, Gerald "Butch" Callahan, Shirley Nethings and Janie Renfrow.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Ray Callahan (Jane) of Poplar Bluff, MO. and Jeri Renea Martin (Tim) of Van Buren, MO.; his sister Amy Vaughn of Cardwell, MO.; and his grandchildren, Jerad Callahan, Dustin Martin, Caleb Callahan (Jonnie), Chelsea Bolin and Miles Callahan (Presley). He is also survived by Nine great grandchildren.
