She was predeceased by : her parents, Thomas Thurman and Alma "Silvey" Thurman; and her husband Roland L. Winnie. She is survived by : her children, Sharon Winnie-Vann, Daniel Winnie, Donna Plumlee and Greg Winnie; and her siblings, Phil Thurman and Pat Metzler. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
