He was predeceased by : his parents, Herschel Burrell and Ollie Burrell (Jones); and his children, Phyllis Collins and Michael Joe Burrell. He is survived by : his wife Mary; his son Mark Burrell; his grandchildren, Mickey Burrell (Crystal), Jessica Hill (Justin Lewis), Tasha Choate (James), Ashley Davis (Allen), Jodi Price (Jake) and Marcus Burrell; and his brothers, Norman, Charles and Donnie Burrell. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
