It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Horton of Seymour, Missouri, who passed away on August 21, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Virgil Jones; her husband Danny Horton; her son Steven Horton; and her brother Rex Cook. She is survived by: her mother Carrie Jones; her daughter Melissa Carol Dean (Carl Ray Dean); her grandchildren, Mike Calvin Dean (Amanda Marie Dean), Travis Blaine Price (Andrea Lynn Price) and Carlissa Mae Smythe (Travis James Smythe); her daughter-in-law Danielle Regina Horton; her grandsons, Steven Wayne Horton Jr., Daniel Brendon Horton and Dawson Dennis Horton; and her great grandchildren, Clayton Wade Dean, Olivia Grayson Dean, Karter Blaine Price, Kaden Blaine Smythe, Braden Ray Smythe, Taylin Grace Price, Isabella McKinley Smythe, Ember Mae Smythe and Daniel James Smythe. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
