He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thompson and Judy Thompson (Doty); his sister Julie Thompson; and his granddaughter River. He is survived by: his wife Kimberly Thompson; his children, Amber Moore (Lucas), James Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Corey Thompson (Lydia) and Shelby Cole; his grandchildren, Mylea, Keara, Havyn Moore, Cooper, Sawyer Thompson, Maebel, Allee Thompson, Ryia, Gavyn Helms and Haydon Gage; his sisters, Jackie Judd (Wayne) and Janice Harris (Steve); his siblings-in-law, Paulette Thomas and Tommy Hoggatt (Shelia); and his siblings' children, Dalton, Hailea Harris, Jordan Judd, Hollie Harbison (Robbie), Leigh Ann, Andrew Hoggatt and Allison West (Shane).
