She was predeceased by: her parents, Evert "Bill" Mayfield and Virginia Mayfield (Anderson); her son Christopher Louis Lorenz; her husband Arthur Louis Lorenz; her in-laws, Walter and Helen Bowers Lorenz; and her sister-in-law Carol Lorenz Kleier.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Toni Lorenz (Cline) of Marshfield, Missouri; her grandchildren, Karisa Wright (Josh) and Kelby Lorenz of Springfield, Missouri; her sister Diana Mahaffey (Charles) of Springfield, Missouri; her siblings-in-law, Jerry Kleier of Seymour, Missouri and Ruth Williams (Alba) of Springfield, Missouri.; and her nephews, Brian Mahaffey (Sandy) of St. Charles, Missouri, Alan Mahaffey (Karla) of Guthrie City, Iowa, Darren Mahaffey (Sarah) of Springfield, Missouri and Todd Kleier (Stacy) of Seymour, Missouri. She is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Craig-Hurtt Funeral Home - Seymour (214 W Clinton Ave, Seymour, MO 65746). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the Seymour Masonic Cemetery (899 W Clinton Ave, Seymour, MO 65746).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
