He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Turner and Eunice Turner (Elwood); his brother Ronnie Turner; his stepmother Fern Turner; his mother-in-law Bernice Grimsley; and his siblings-in-law, Weldon Stokes, Michael Grimsley and Christa Grimsley.

He is survived by : his children, Erin Maubach (Tom) of Shelbina, MO, Andy Turner (Tiffany) of Moberly, MO and Mary Greenwood of Shelbina, MO; his grandchildren, Abby, Kelsie Haggard, Quintin, Courtney Maubach, Emily and Gracie Greenwood; and his siblings, Charles Turner, David Turner of Prior Lake, MN, Donna Miles of Bethel, MO and Paulette Underwood of Norman, OK..

A memorial service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery (1479 County Rd 1675, Jacksonville, MO 65260).
