She was predeceased by : her parents, William Robert and Virginia Elmina Mae Howell (Stoddard); her husband John Edward "Mickey" Wood; her son John E. Wood II; and her son-in-law James Franklin.
She is survived by : her children, Glory Lee Franklin and Robert Charles Mitchell (Pam); and her grandchildren, Dana Franklin, Kristen Akright (Matt), Christine McGowan (Chuck), Jared Mitchell, Calah Brown, John E. Wood III and Kalen Franklin. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
