He was predeceased by : his parents, John Milton and Isyl Alberta Wood (Christman); his wife Mary; his daughter Mary Jean Wood; and his siblings, Basil, Wendell Wood and Marguerite Boster.

He is survived by : his sons, John Wood (Cindy) of Wentzville, MO and Jeffrey Wood (Jane) of St. Peters, MO; his grandchildren, Hunter Wood, Amanda Wood and Jenna Wood; his brother-in-law Ronald Jackson (Susan) of Florida; and his nieces and nephews, Wendeline, Danny, Cindy, Becky, Joann, Scott and Chris.

Memorials may be made to the Shiloh Cemetery or LaBelle Cemetery.
