She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Dean Ethridge and Peggy Ann Allensworth; her husband Ronald Lee Rupert; her siblings, Jerry Ethridge, Cleveland Ethridge and Mary Strain; her daughter Tracy Brumbaugh; and her grandson Justice Rupert.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Lunsford (Jill) of Shelbyville, MO, Todd Rupert of Hannibal, MO, Paul Rupert (Melisa) of Emden, MO and David Rupert (Serena) of Shelbyville, MO; and her sister Carol Ann Shellhorn of Illinois. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many foster children.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greening-Eagan-Hayes Chapel (401 S Center St, Shelbina, MO 63468). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Zion Cemetery, Neighbors Helping Neighbors and Bethel Christian Church.
