She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schmadeke and Leota Schmadeke (Volker); her granddaughter Christina Coe; her niece Rachel Schmadeke; her brother Kenneth; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Werr, E. L. Prange, Jr. and Bonnie Schmadeke.
She is survived by: her husband John Theodore Werr of Shelbina, Missouri; her children, Sara Lair (Rod) of Cedar Falls, Jeff Werr (LouAnn) of Shelbina, Susan Coe (Ed) of Shelbyville and Eric Werr (Carol) of Shelbyville; her siblings, Phyllis Anderson of Hanover, Beverly Grubb (Ken) of Mexico and Jim Schmadeke of Wildwood; and her sister-in-law Marilyn Prange of Concordia, Missouri. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church and Shelbina Library.
