It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Gaines in Shelbina, Missouri, born in Schell City, Missouri, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Vincil Webster and Nina Frances Fuller Foreman; her spouse Estel Francis Gaines; her children, Kenneth Gaines and Janette Cooper; her son-in-law Larry Thrasher; her great great grandchild Henley Edward Gaines; and her brothers, Bill, Gerald, Larry and Harold Foreman.
She is survived by : her children, Robert Gaines (Linda) of Shelbyville, James Gaines (Phillis) of Shelbyville and Jo Anne Thrasher of Shelbyville; her children-in-law, Shirley Gaines of Comanche, OK and Larry Cooper of Clarence, MO; her grandchildren, Karen, Rusty Gaines, Mark Gaines (Mellany), Kent Gaines, Kathy Watkins (John), Dennis Gaines, Sandy Willey (Brad), Michael Gaines, Darren Cooper, Brian Cooper (Laura), Christy Yost (Shane) and Jeff Thrasher (Jennifer); and her sister Betty Perry (Gerald) of Novelty, MO.. She is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and sixteen great-great grandchildren.
