She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman E. Driskell and Genora L. Driskell (Cox); and her husband Gary C. Carter. She is survived by: her daughters, Kyla Hoffman (Kendal) and Alicia Marsh of Leawood, KS; her grandchildren, Zac Kite (Melody), Nathan Kite, Michael R. Kite, Cashton Hoffman and Carly Hoffman; her great grandchildren, Arryia Kite, Keith Kite, Amelia Kite and Dallas Kite; and her siblings, Nancy Eaves (Sam), El Dorado Springs, Charles Driskell and Don Driskell of Galveston, TX. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in her name to Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Nevada c/o Ferry Funeral Home.
