She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton Willard and Donna Willard (Chapel); her husband Billy Joe Phoenix; her daughter Jemell Marion Ardoin; and her great grandchild Austin Troy Hooks.
She is survived by: her daughter Shawn Tandy of Shell Knob, Missouri; her stepson David Walz, Sr. (Jan) of Alaska; her grandchildren, Keith Guiles, Jennifer Trafford, Jason Hooks and David Walz, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, Logan Trafford, Cassandra Trafford, Jessie Trafford, Avery Hooks, Addison Hooks, Ainsley Hooks, Peyton Guiles and Alex Guiles.
Betty was a master gardener, she enjoyed watching barrel racing and doing charity work.
