She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmore Kassel and Neva Kassel (Ford); and her husband John Gibbons. She is survived by: her sons, Dirk Dietz (Janice) of O'Fallon, Drew Dietz (Melinda) of Jackson and Drake Dietz (Denise) of Bloomington, Minnesota; Ruth Jean Lange of Jackson, Missouri.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church Food Pantry in Shell Knob and entrusted to White Funeral Home and Crematory.
