Robert J. Kark Obituary

We announce the death of Robert J. Kark of Shell Knob, Missouri, born in East Chicago, Indiana, who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kark and Theresa Kark (Holicky); and his sister Anna Mae Kark. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Kark (Wilkoz); his children, Jeff Kark of Highland, Laura Dobson (Jeff) of Wauconda and Benjamin Buehne (Rhiannon) of Griffith, Indiana; his grandchildren, Tyler, Reese, Eva and Charlotte; his siblings, Janet Tindall (Chuck) of Flossmoor, Maryann Ramsay (Jeff) of Crown Point and Donald Kark (Robin) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; his brother-in-law Leo Wilkoz (Diane); and his nieces and nephews, Christopher, Patricia, Kaity, Patrick, Megan, Kimberly and Katie.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM and on Saturday, November 21st 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Holy Family Church.

Memorial donations may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, the Central Crossing Senior Center, or St. Jude's Research.
