With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Joe Wheeler of Sikeston, Missouri, born in Portageville, Missouri, who passed away on July 4, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Burris Wheeler and William Wheeler; his son Marty Wheeler; his siblings, Marion, Rondell, Melvin, Billy Wayne Wheeler and Valerie Wheeler; and his wife Betty Sue Wheeler (Sharp).
He is survived by: his daughters, Toni Kiburz (Greg) of Foley, Kimberley Sydnor (Thomas) of Hillsboro, MO and Dana Antoine (Nic) of Nashville; his daughter-in-law Sharon Wheeler of St. Louis, MO; and his siblings, Fay Parker (Patricia Marshall) of Sikeston, MO, Larry Wheeler of Lowell, AR, Terry Wheeler of Portageville, MO and Johnny Wheeler of Portageville, MO. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the DeLisle Funeral Home (209 W Main St, Portageville, MO 63873). A funeral service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral DeLisle Funeral Home (209 W Main St, Portageville, MO 63873).
