It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy Rataj of Sikeston, Missouri, born in Harrisburg, Arkansas, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ollie "Hawk" Blaxton and Maurice Blaxton; and her brother Darnell Blaxton. She is survived by : her son Christopher Lee Rataj (Kristi Michelle) of Sikeston; her brothers, Cooper Blaxton of Michigan and Gerald Blaxton of Newport, Arkansas; her sister-in-law Nettie Blaxton of Jonesboro, Arkansas; her grandchildren, Jessica Weiss (Jordan) of Jackson, Lizzi Rataj (Bobby Walker) of Sikeston and Brittany Evans of Sikeston; and her great grandchildren, Jaden Weiss, Jett Weiss, Jonah Weiss and Reed Walker.
