David C. Mann Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David C. Mann of Sikeston, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, David D. Mann and Melba Jane Cottingham Mann; his brother George Mann; his parents-in-law, A. C. "Dub" Riley and Edna Riley; his brother-in-law Don Blair; and his niece Virginia Elizabeth James.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah Elizabeth Riley Mann of New Madrid; his daughter Mary Elizabeth Mann Ferguson (Reade Ferguson) of Sikeston; his grandchildren, Lillian Elizabeth Ferguson and William David Ferguson; his siblings, James "Jim" Mann (Paula) of Maumelle, AR and Sherry Blair of Schaumburg, IL; his sister-in-law Virginia Louise Riley James (R. D.) of New Madrid; and his nephew Riley James. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (245 W Front St, Sikeston, MO 63801).

In lieu of flowers, plants, and gift items, the family kindly requests memorials be made to the St. Francis Xavier Catholic School, 105 Stoddard Street, Sikeston, MO 63801.
