He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Pfefferkorn and Marjorie Davidson Pfefferkorn; and his siblings, Mark Pfefferkorn, Bill Pfefferkorn and Patricia Vessel.

He is survived by: his wife Jane Burnett; his daughters, Molly Rebecca Thompson (Nathan), Corrie Jo Pfefferkorn, Abby Jane Pfefferkorn and Maggie Leigh Pfefferkorn; his grandchildren, Brylie Noe, Ellie Noe, Kylie Miller (Kaleb), Luke Pfefferkorn, Myles Pfefferkorn, Jackson David Bell and Sidney Ray Fraley II; his great grandchild Charles David Miller; and his nephew Billy Jo Fiebig.
