In the sacred silence of farewell, Gary is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Gary's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Tiffany Copeland; his parents, Mathis Copeland Jr. and Mary Copeland; and his brother Ricky Copeland. He is survived by: his sister Laura Henley (Copeland); and his brother-in-law Phillip Henley. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; along with his 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ponder Funeral Home (1120 N Main St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
