George Longstreet Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Longstreet of Sikeston, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid George farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For George is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Goletha Longstreet and Johnny Longstreet, Sr.; and his wife Lisa Longstreet.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (127 W Trotter St, Sikeston, MO 63801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
