He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Cullen Blanton and Maureen Daily Blanton; his former wife Carol Marie Page; and his siblings, Rosemary, Patricia, Maureen, John, Anne and Joseph.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Bess; his children, Michael (Dawn), Christopher (Jenny), Laura Murphy (John), Anne Cross, Harry and John (Krista); his brother Lewis; his sisters-in-law, Barbara and Claire; and his niece Emily (Kyle). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Francis Xavier Church (245 W Front St, Sikeston, MO 63801).
