She was predeceased by : her parents, Roosevelt Byrd and Marie Andrews Byrd; her husband Roy B. Hooper of Oran; and her siblings, Dora M. Foster, Helen M. Rucker, Eula Mae Byrd, Myrs L. Dixon, Rebecca Brent, Curtis L. Byrd, Norman "Buddy" Byrd and Stillie R. L. Byrd. She is also survived by nieces, nephews; grand nieces and nephews and other extended family.
