We are sad to announce that, on April 19, 2021, at the age of 89, Hazel Callahan of Sikeston, Missouri, born in Senath, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elza Hufford and Louveda Hufford (Gough); her son Eddie Callahan; her grandson Scotty Jones; and her great grandchild Heather Benson.

She is survived by: her children, Marvin Callahan (Robin) of Wappapello, Johnny Callahan (Vickie) of Sikeston, Missouri. and Loretta Goddard (Mark) of Kennett, Missouri.; her daughter-in-law Myra Callahan of St. Louis; and her sister Bernice Guy of Sisston. She is also survived by Eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

“Lou was a great lady who showed love for many. I was a neighborhood kid who grew up with her sons Eddie, Marvin and Johnny...I hung out with Marvin, and stayed at their house many times. Lou could make some mighty fine chocolate gravy and hot biscuits. I always felt like family. I haven't seen any of the family in quite some time. I have been in Florida since 1974. I know Lou will be sorely missed.”
