It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Hartzog in Sikeston, Missouri, born in Cash, Arkansas, who passed away on May 7, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Hillis and Almedia Wheaton Hillis; her former life partner Evan Huff; her husband Jack Hartzog; and her brother Sterling Hillis.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Huff (Bobbie) of Holiday Island, AR and Saundra Swarts of Middletown, IL; her sister Carol Kirk (Jesse) of Sikeston, MO; her grandchildren, Michael Huff (Lashun) of Ada, OK, James Huff (Beth) of Wynne, AR, Amanda Keith (Derek) of Greenview, IL and Samantha Maxheimer (Jason) of Lincoln, IL; and her great grandchildren, Michael L. Huff, Evan Huff, Shaver Huff, William Huff, Tanner Huff, Quentin Keith, Jessa Maxheimer, Kevin Maxheimer, Tristin Maxheimer, Kody Swarts, Shelby Swarts and Austin Swarts. She is also survived by 7 great-great-grandchildren.
