We are sad to announce that on June 23, 2023, at the age of 69, Janet Lee Gierer Leavitt of Sikeston, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Melvin L. Gierer and Emma Leona Faddis Gierer; her husband Richard W. Leavitt; and her stepson Richard Dean Leavitt. She is survived by : her children, Christopher G. Tripp of Sikeston, Deric M. Tripp of Sikeston and Bridget Leavitt (Marrisa) of Sikeston; and her grandchildren, A. J. Keefe of Sikeston and Sky Leavitt of St. Louis. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
