He was predeceased by: his parents, Emerson Hill Laseter and Aileen Byrd Laseter; his brother Dr. Michael D. Laseter; and his nephew Mike Laseter. He is survived by: his wife Rita Jean Lewis; his children, Jerry Earl Laseter, II (Chrislynn Jones) of Nashville, TN and Jo Laseter Lambert (Denny Alcorn) of Morley; his grandchildren, Joseph "Scotty" Lambert (Carolyn Lambert) of Blodgett, Macy Jo Moore of Sikeston and Layla Laseter of Nashville, TN; his great grandchildren, Joseph Scott Lambert, II of Blodgett and Joey Tig Lambert of Blodgett; his siblings, Robert Laseter (Wanda) of Sikeston and Tammy Laseter of Memphis, TN; his sister-in-law Donna Laseter of Poplar Bluff; and his nieces and nephews, Sherry Glastetter, Rob Laseter, Joey Laseter-Sisson, David Laseter, Leslie Laseter-Frazier, Issac Laseter and Christina Newell.
